i am still filled with awe after watching HCI play. Like well-oiled machines, they just slipped into their places on the court as if they've done this every day of their life. which they probably have. once the starting whistle was blown, not a word was uttered from them. not from the coach, not even from the players among themselves. no communication is needed. everyone knows what they have to do, where they need to be. not a single player is out of play, there is no lag. everyone is exactly where they are supposed to be, waiting to exact their role. Like clockwork, their attack is unstoppable, their defense almost impenentrable. not a player is ever caught off guard, not a player is ever out of place. there is no rush, no panic. just a steady, calm composure. with excellent aiming and passing and ball control to match.
i'm still struggling to pick my jaw off the floor. like everywhere else in the world, the force of china is becoming an increasingly strong force to be reckoned with.
